Onsite at the Inn

Our Inn spans 25 acres, offering plenty of space for walking and hiking anytime. Enjoy the serene landscape right at your doorstep.

Blue Hole Park

Blue Hole Park is perfect for a leisurely walk or a more challenging hike. Its scenic trails and lush greenery make it a favorite among visitors.

Jacob’s Well

Jacob’s Well features a nature preserve and beautiful walking areas. It’s an excellent spot for nature lovers and photography enthusiasts.

Old Baldy

Climb the 218 rock steps at Old Baldy to witness breathtaking views of the Wimberley Valley. It’s a short but rewarding hike.

Canyon Lake

Milton Reimers Ranch Park

Located just outside Dripping Springs, this nature preserve boasts several walking trails that showcase the region’s natural beauty.

In addition to the walking trails at the inn, Wimberley and the surrounding areas offer numerous hiking trails and outdoor adventures. Hike or swim at the Blue Hole Regional Park or Jacob’s Well Natural Area; take a tour of a working olive oil ranch or soar through the area on a zip line.

Be sure to take a day to stroll through our local shops and farmers’ markets, but make sure to return to the inn in time for the sunset and a relaxing evening on  the porch.

Scenic Country Drives

We recommend beautiful country drives to neighboring small towns:

Fredericksburg: Through Blanco, Luckenbach, and Stonewall. Enjoy boutique shopping and the Pacific War Museum.

Johnson City to Fredericksburg: Resembles Napa Valley with numerous wineries.

Luckenbach: Famous for its music, old dance hall, and bar at the post office.

Albert: Known for its old dance hall, good music, and food trucks on weekends.

Boerne: Great for boutique shops and restaurants.

Comfort: Close to Boerne, with excellent antique shopping.

Gruene: Home to the oldest dancehall in Texas, with downtown shops and restaurants.

New Braunfels: Near Gruene, famous for antique shops.
